Rhymes With Squeal!

July 9, 2012

Ok, so maybe squeal isn’t the best word ever, but you know, it’s like a squeal for joy! Almost like a squee, but I don’t do that, remember?

So let me tell you about Ciel.

Ciel is the totally kick-butt heroine of the upcoming IN A FIX by the lovely and talented Linda Grimes. Now Michelle, you may be asking, why the PG language? I thought this book isn’t even YA?

You are correct. But somehow to me, Ciel feels more like a butt kicker than an ass kicker. Does that make sense? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Anyway, I loooooove Ciel.

First of all, she’s an aura adaptor!!! How cool is that?? I know, I know. You don’t really know what that is. Well, it’s kind of like a shape shifter, but Ciel pooh poohs shape shifting in the book as something that would never happen in real life since it takes place at the molecular level. She can just project somebody else’s aura and therefore take on their appearance. So Ciel sets up her own business as a facilitator where she helps people fix their problems as them.

But why am I telling you all this?? You can read about it in the awesome Publishers Weekly review which called it a “sparkling series opener” and a, “wisecracking, whirlwind romp of a romantic urban fantasy adventure.” Read the entire review here.

Coming September 4, 2012

Wait, is that a Diana Gabaldon blurb?? Yes it is!!!

I’m pretty sure you’re going to love it too. So go order a copy at Amazon!! or B&N!! Or somewhere else!!

Doesn’t this sound amazing???

And don’t forget to enter the contest to win a copy of ENDLESSLY by Kiersten White. Winner will be announced tomorrow!
